Herbal Hair Rinses are combinations of dried herbs, grown naturally without sprays and hand harvested on our farm. These formulations of herbs are what I have used in my "no-poo", hair healing journey.
Herbal Hair Rinse Options:
Nutritive/Soothing:
Ingredients: Oatstraw, Milky Oat Tops, Chamomile, Calendula, Lavender
I use this to calm my irritated scalp, help to heal the skin barrier, and as my general go-to rinse.
Growth/Strength:
Ingredients: Rosemary, Milky Oats, Marshmallow Root, Comfrey, Mint
I use this mix in combination with the Nutritive/Soothing or on its own at least a few times a month. After years of dealing with autoimmune hair loss and an autoimmune scalp condition...I have found that this combination of herbs along with a proper "no-poo" regimen has really helped me grow and maintain growth and strength as well as help with itchiness and irritation. Herbal Hair rinses can be used a variety of ways:
-Infuse in water or ACV for rinsing hair after "no-poo" cleansing or other cleansing method.
-Make an infusion and use as an an herbal spritz to spray on scalp or hair.
-Use infusion as a simple rinse after wetting hair with water or exfoliating the scalp with water.
