Fall Herb Walk: Focusing on Adaptogens, Roots, & Winter Wellness

Age Range: Adults, children age 12yr and up
Our seasonal herb walks are a wonderful way to learn more about specific herbs and their uses. Each walk focuses on a handful of specific plants that are in their prime during that season. We will discuss natural history, how to grow/cultivate/forage, how to harvest, and how to use each particular herb. We will also cover the most effective preparations of these herbs.
Important Notes for Registration:
-This class is for ages 12yrs and up only. If you have any questions about whether this class is appropriate for you or your child, please contact Melissa at info@wildasterfarm.com
-If purchasing a ticket for yourself and some one else, in the notes at checkout, please put the full names of each person for which you are purchasing a ticket.
-This class will take place outside on our farm. Please plan to attend in most weather conditions. If the weather is exceptionally bad, we may reschedule or cancel the class.
-Please plan to wear appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes for walking around a working farm. We will be spending majority of the class moving around the farm to talk about specific plants.
